IMDB Rated Festivals
A short film that gets a cinema or TV screening will normally be recognized by the Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB) www.imdb.com and the credit will appear on this bible of listings.
With so many short films and so many festivals, IMDB only recognizes films that have been selected for a select group of festivals. There are major festivals not listed (Cannes for one) and there are other criteria to be considered. But, if you have a great short and want to see it listed, this is a start:
